Moving Image for Architecture & Interior Design

LIGHT AND SPACES creates high-end architectural films that present projects with aesthetic clarity and atmosphere.

Films that make an impact.

Make ideas visible and let people be heard.

Architectural film offers insight into ideas, attitudes and ways of thinking. When architects and designers speak for themselves, the result is authentic – and trust grows not through claims, but through insight.

Show quality and define your position.

Film is a showcase for ambitious architecture. It makes quality visible, strengthens your presence in competitions and supports a clear, recognisable position with juries, the trade press and clients.

Draw attention and show what’s next.

Film inspires clients and opens up new perspectives. It brings topics such as conversion, extension and revitalisation into view and draws attention to architecture that takes responsibility and is built to last.

About

To us, film and architecture share a common vocabulary: light, space, perspective, composition and narrative. Architecture creates physical environments, film constructs virtual ones – yet both set out to shape worlds that can be experienced and to guide the viewer’s eye. Both disciplines compose spaces, stage experiences and create mood and aesthetic impressions.

This is how every building becomes a cinematic setting and every film a spatial experience – a harmonious interplay of image and space, and a creative dialogue between visual storytelling and spatial design.

Antonella Amesberger

“Working with Light and Spaces was a truly rewarding experience. Konrad and Andreas captured the atmosphere, aesthetics and function of a small project and turned it into a compelling story. With top-class equipment, you really know your craft. We’re looking forward to the next project!”

Luca Beltrame

“The vision and narrative of Andreas and Konrad left us speechless. They have a rare ability to transform places into emotions, speaking directly to something personal and instinctive. We are truly glad to have had the opportunity to work with them and look forward to the next collaboration.”

Andreas Hagenkord (Callwey)

“The film impresses us again and again – and above all, that’s what we hear from our 600 guests, the city-tour partners and the exhibitors. The film is spot on, and working with the two of them was a real pleasure. We’d love to do it again!”

Jurgis Gečys

“Light beyond its time, and space denser than its silence. Working together opened up new dimensions, leaving us in wonder and awe.”

Q&A

What does Light and Spaces offer?

We create high-quality, professional film and video content that presents buildings, interiors, outdoor spaces and urban projects with aesthetic and technical precision – and conveys the ideas and thinking behind their planning and design.

Our services cover the entire filmmaking process: concept development, shoot planning and organisation, the shoot itself, post-production and delivery of the finished film in all the formats you need.

What does a production look like?

A film production usually has three stages.

Pre-production: location scouting, concept development, shooting schedule and timeline.
Production: on-location shoot, interviews, drone footage.
Post-production: picture and sound editing, colour correction and grading, retouching, sound design and mixing, final mastering and format versions.

Depending on the scope of the project, services can be added or left out. Every step is closely coordinated with you, if you wish.

How much does a video cost?

Prices depend on the scope of the project, the effort involved and the services you need. We provide a transparent quote with clear line items for pre-production, shooting day(s) and post-production, and put together the right production package for your budget to get the best possible result.

How long does a project take?

It depends on the project and its complexity – typically between 7 days and 8 weeks, depending on the scope and length of the video. We agree a detailed schedule up front, based on your dates and requirements, so the project is delivered on time.

How many rounds of revisions are included?

Depending on the project budget, our quote includes one to three rounds of revisions. Each additional round is charged as an extra post-production day. Any services beyond the originally agreed scope may incur additional costs – of course only after consulting you.

Do you also offer photography?

Our focus is on film. Stills are available as an add-on, and we’re happy to shoot them as part of a production.

Does LIGHT AND SPACES only work in Austria?

No. The studio is based in Vienna and works worldwide.

Is there a charge for an initial meeting?

No. A first meeting – by phone, video call or in person – is always free of charge, whether or not it leads to a project together. Interested? Here’s our contact form.
