House F is a sensitive conversion of an 1870 farmhouse and its adjoining barn into a thoughtful, comfortable home. The renovation set out to preserve as much of the existing fabric as possible, adding only authentic materials. At the heart of the house is the old stable, whose original timber structure has been carefully restored and now creates a warm, inviting atmosphere – matched by a large, raw oak table that links the open kitchen with the lounge and seats up to twelve guests. The house sits naturally within the village centre, and its blend of old and new creates a wide range of atmospheres.
